Ethnography and History Museum in Bicaz

 
The museum created in 1958 has been operating since 1966 in the formerly “Ion Kalinderu” Village Theatre, also known at the time by the name The Royal Theatre, because here in Bicaz, during the First World War, the Royal Family would watch performances in this hall, as they sought refuge with their suite.

History and Ethnography Museum in Târgu-Neamţ

The beginnings of the museum date back to 1940, when the first exhibition organised displayed artefacts unearthed during the archaeological research at Neamţ Fortress. The museum itself was set up in 1957, within the ceremonies celebrating 500 years from the ascent of Ştefan cel Mare to the Moldavian throne. The Ethnographical Museum in Piatra-Neamţ

 
Created in 1960, this museum is located in the headmaster’s house of the former primary school that was opened in the current Art Gallery. The building, with its picturesque architecture, erected in 1931, always proves to be too small for the volume of art works it houses.
