Valuable collection of the Archiepiscopate of Roman and Bacau

The ruler Alexandru cel Bun supported the Orthodox Church to become a powerful institution and also created the Episcopate of Roman. He raised the church from Roman at the rank of Episcopate Cathedral. On September 13 2009 with the accord of the High Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church the Episcopate of Roman was raised at the rank of Archiepiscopate of Roman and Bacau.

The Monastery from Ceahlau Mountain – a place loved by pilgrims

The Monastery “Schimbarea la fata” from the op of Ceahlau Mountain was built in 1993 through the contribution of believers that wanted a religious settlement on top of this holly mountain. The beauty of winter at Secu Monastery

It’s a beautiful winter with lots of snow in Neamt County. As always the beauty of nature invite you to outdoor walks, to admire the beautiful environment.
