The Cathedral “St Teodora from Sihla” is located in the inner court of Sihastria Monastery and it’s dedicated to St Teodora that lived in Sihla Mountains and was canonized as a saint in 1992. The monks from Sihastria built this church with the intention to bring here the holy relics of St Teodora that are now in Kiev.

“Nasterea Sf Ioan Botezatorul” Church from Varatec Monastery was built in 1817 and its first destination was as church of the cemetery where they performed the religious services for the dead. In time the village of nuns grew and the cemetery became too small: so they moved it and the church became a place where the nuns performed the usual daily religious service. “Adormirea Maicii Domnului” means “The Death of St Mary Mother of Jesus”. This church from Agapia Monastery represents the secondary church of the monastery. The building is located a few meters away from the monastery, outside its walls, among the houses that belong to the nuns.

Secu Monastery is an old religious settlement from Neamt County that has almost 500 years. In its early years, the monastery was located on the property of Neamt Fortress, on the valley of Secu Creek. Here, in this place, in 1530 the ruler Petru Musat built the church of Zosima Hermitage. The church that was destroyed in the fire from 1821 was located on the place where today we can visit the cemetery’s church from Secu Monastery.

The wooden church from Farcasa is considered to be one of the most “gifted” from the entire Neamt County and it differentiate itself from other churches through the wealth of its ornaments that are “talking” about the diversity of folk traditional creations from this area.
