Starting this weekend and until February 11th, there will be four weekends of dance and good spirits, raffle with prizes, music rhythms with DJ John, contests, photo memories, night skiing, and during the children’s holiday period, from February 17th to 25th, the contests, music and fun will be daily.

The 2nd edition of “Stairs to Toaca” National Competition
Mount Ceahlău is not only a main symbol of Neamț County, but has also become a source of inspiration for the “Stairs to Toaca” competition, initiated and organized by EMS “Petrodava” Neamț. This year, the contest will be a way of evaluating the level of physical training and the speed of reaction in emergency situations of the participating firefighters.
The “Stairs to Toaca” competition will take place on June 27-28, 2023.

In Durău Mountain Resort there is a leisure park, unique in Neamţ that welcomes everyone, from the youngest to the oldest people. On the 1st of June 2023, children have benefited of free entrance at all the museums in Neamț, there was an open-air theater performance in Piatra Neamț, also for children, there was a cycling tour attended by over 500 participants, but the largest influx of tourists and locals was, by far, headed towards the “Olympus of Moldavia”, the Ceahlău Massif.

Following the hiking trail from Izvorul Muntelui to Poiana Maicilor (Nuns’ Glade), right before reaching Dochia Chalet, tourists pass by two impressive rock formations called „Clăile lui Miron” (Miron’s Haystacks).
