Between August 15 and 18 2013 in Piatra Neamt will take place the Final of the National Championship of horse jumping over obstacles. The best riders and horses from Romania will gather at the Equestrian Base Virgil Barbuceanu from Piatra Neamt to compete for the national champion title. With this occasion there will also be awarded the TCE 3 Brazi Cup.
The event will start with a parade of the participants on the streets of Piatra Neamt. At the start of this edition will participate 95 riders. The national champion title …

On August 15 2013 at Bicaz will take place on Izvorul Muntelui Lake manifestations of the “Marine Days”. The event will begin at 10:00 with a remember moment in memory of all sailors that lost their lives into the sea. After this, the event will continue with a series of contests like swimming or catching ducks.

On August 18 2013 will take place the VIII edition of Vanatori-Neamt commune days under the title “Joy and dances in the Land of the bison”. The official opening will be at 13:00 and will contain a series of events specific to that area.
The artistic program of the event will be sustained by local bands like the Choir “Vanatorii lui Stefan cel Mare”, the Choir “Vovidenia”, the band “Sezatoarea”. Between August 3 and 6 2013 took place in Durau resort the Festival of Ceahlau Mountain. This festival summoned more events like the Day of Ceahlau Mountain, the Day of Ceahlau Commune and the International Folklore Festival.
The Festival of Ceahlau Mountain promoted the touristic potential of the area and local traditions and cultural values. The local artisans were present with an exhibition of traditional handmade objects. There was also a photography and old postcards and photos related to Ceahlau Mountain.

Every year, on August 6 Orthodox believers climb Ceahlau Mountain to take place at the religious celebration of “Changing the face” at the monastery from the top of the mountain. This year religious service was held by a group of priests among which was also the Mitropolit of Iasi, Bucovina and Moldova Teofan.
The day of Ceahlau Mountain is celebrated in the same day as the religious celebration of “Changing the face”. The religious services started on August 5 and continued through the day of August 6. Pilgrims came to participate …
