At Neamt County Library G.T. Kirileanu will take place Thursday, May 8 2014 at 16:00 the opening of the painting exhibition signed by Constantin Filimon. During this exhibition will be exposed works from the collection dr. Victor Kirileanu.

Constantin Filimon was born on May 25 1936 in Piatra Neamt and he graduated in 1967 the Art Institute “N. Grigorescu” from Bucharest. Then he followed the religious painting class from the Romanian Patriarchy. In 1978 he returned in Piatra Neamt and from 2002 he is a member of the Artists Union from Neamt County. Known as a rebel both in his life as well in his art the artist created numerous works over his career and painted or restored many churches.
