Between July 20 and 21 took placed in Piatra Neamt the VIII edition of “Tare ca Piatra” festival dedicated to both amateurs and professionals. As usual there were four categories: downhill, skate, rollers and street ball. The downhill event was on Cozla Mountain on a 3km route. The other three events took place on Curtea Domneasca Plaza. This was also the place where 30 handmade artisans were present.

At the start of this year’s edition enrolled over 200 contestants. They were also joined by a group of 80 athletes from all over Europe that were doing the We Tour to promote the urban sport. The winner of the downhill event was the 15 years old Sebastian Grosu from Sinaia with a time of 2:26:27 minutes at the Elite category.

“Tare ca Piatra” Festival attracted many tourists. The event was organized with the support of Piatra Neamt Town Hall and Perla Invest.
