Between May 29 and August 2 2013, in Piatra Neamt, at the History and Archeology Museum will take place the exhibition “Urban Evolution of Piatra Neamt between the XIX and XX centuries”. The exhibition is organized by Neamt County Museum Complex in collaboration with Neamt County National Archives Bureau. The exhibition is composed of documents, photographs, postal cards and art works that are themed related to Piatra Neamt.

In the last part of the XIX century, Piatra Neamt was under a massive urban organization involving adapting the streets to the new requirements, creating plazas, organizing Cuejdi spring, organizing the center of the town, public illumination, current water, gardens and parks. For the first time in an exhibition will be presented original urban plans of the area, dating from 1845.

The exhibition will be open until August 2 2013.
