Starting with March at “Lascar Vorel” Art Galleries visitors can see the exhibition of the artist Petru Diaconu. The opening of the exhibition took placed on March 1 2013 and was presented by the art critique Emil Nicolae and the writer Adrian Alui Gheorghe.

Petru Diaconu was born in Dobreni commune on March 24 1949 and had his debut in 1979 in a collective exhibition in Iasi. Until 1989 he collaborated with Flacara magazine. In time, some of his works were exhibited in galleries from Romania. In 2004 he was the organizer of the exhibition “Exercitii de culoare I” from Piatra Neamt followed next year by “Exercitii de culoare II”. Between 2005 and 2009 Petru Diaconu organized personal exhibitions at Beijing (2005), Vert Gallery, Piatra Neamt (2005), “Top Art” Gallery from Piatra Neamt (2006), Raiffeisen Bank, Piatra Neamt (2006), at the Theater Festival from Piatra Neamt (2007), Neamt County Library (2008), Lascar Vorel Galleries and an anniversary exhibition (at 60 years) in 2009 in Piatra Neamt.

Petru Diaconu managed to impose his artistic vision, his works being admired by so many art lovers. Some his paintings are in private collections from Swiss, Germany, Italy, US, Belgium, Holland, France and China.
