You can reach Surduc Road either through “Cheile Bicajelului” village or through touristic routes in “Cheile Bicazului – Hasmas” National Park. Although this is an isolated area here you’ll find traditional mountain architecture well preserved.
On Surduc Road tourists can admire small houses of over 100 years old that illustrate the way people used to live around these parts. These small wood houses are living testimonials from the past that needs to be known especially because the building techniques are still used in the area.
The traditional architecture from the area is characterized by a unity in construction materials and architectural elements. From Surduc Road you can reach Bicajel village from where you’ll have a spectacular view over the entire Bicajel valley. Tourists can relax at one of the pensions from the area.
