Short description
Founded in 1962, the Museum of Natural Science from Roman is located in a building that is part of the national architectural monuments list, that was built in the XIX century and which also hosted the Foundation Melchisedec – The School of Singers. The building has 260 square m and it hosts objects found after the research work made after 1960 in the area where the rivers Moldova and Siret meet.
The museum, in its 40 years of existence has a wealthy and valuable heritage of collections representing the flora and fauna from the Lunca Siretului as well a collection of over 40,000 insects.
