Neamț County had one of the most appreciated stands at the Romanian Tourism Fair, which was organized at ROMEXPO, Bucharest. Thousands of visitors were attracted by the genuine charm of Winter Holidays in Neamţ Land. The theme chosen for the autumn edition of the fair was “Winter Holidays traditions in Neamţ County”. The visitors were delighted as well with the tourist packages and itineraries, considering it extremely attractive.

There were four days in which visitors coming to the tourism fair at ROMEXPO, who were looking for vacations in special places, stopped by at the stand of Neamț County to find out information about the most interesting attractions in the area. Most of them couldn’t resist the temptation to take a photo in the fairytale setting and said that it is by far the most beautiful stand in the autumn edition of the Romanian Tourism Fair.

The printed brochures and other promotional materials distributed to those interested in discovering our county revealed the high tourist potential of Neamt Land, with its mountainous areas, picturesque lakes, and the amazing cultural, ethnographic, and spiritual heritage. Both visitors to the stand and passers-by were much impressed by the winter holiday and customs and traditions: the carols, the goat dances, the bear dances, and “căiuţi” dances presented by “Floricica de la Munte” Folk Ensemble of “Carmen Saeculare” Center for Culture and Arts in Neamţ gathered large audiences at Neamț County’s stand.

And because the Neamţ area is largely known for its welcoming people and fine dishes, local producers have prepared platters with delicious meat and cheese appetizers, as well as cakes, pies, apples and nuts, as tradition demands on holidays, for all visitors to delight with.

During the fair, promotion clips of various tourist objectives and attractions from Neamt Coounty were broadcast. These videos are available on our YouTube channel, VisitNeamt, where you can also enjoy the film “Journey into Bison’s Kingdom”.  Presentation clips of HoReCa units in Neamt were on display.

Neamț County Council has invited all operators from the tourism sector around the county to join the fair and present their tourist offers. In addition to holiday offers, leaflets, brochures, tourist maps, and the fiery performance of “Floricica de la Munte” Folk Ensemble, visitors to the stand could taste delicious traditional products of Neamt, and have unforgettable photo sessions in a lovely scenery.

The event was a true success for enhancing the visibility of Neamț County as a tourist destination. Representatives of tour agencies who came to visit the stand showed their interest in including Neamţ County in Holiday Tour Packages and special offers, and many of the visitors posted photos taken inside the stand on their Social Media accounts, stating that they are interested in discovering Neamţ Land up close. Others said they’d love to return to Neamț, whenever the opportunity comes up, because of the beautiful places, various leisure activities, welcoming people and high quality services the area provides.
