After attending World Travel Market London -the largest travel show in the world-, at the beginning of November 2019, the representatives of Neamț County Council have the opportunity to promote the amazing destination Neamţ Land, on the occasion of celebrating The National Day at the Romanian Cultural Institute in London.

More than 150 British officials, representatives of diplomatic and consular missions in London and other high representatives were pleased to experience, for their own, the captivating traditional art, culture, music and gastronomy specific to Neamț County. A series of authentic artistic and cultural manifestations marked the celebration of the National Day, thus introducing the attendants into the joyful atmosphere of the winter holidays in Romania. Participants were both delighted and surprised to get to know the customs and traditions in Neamţ County and expressed their willingness to come to Neamţ Land to further explore and discover its beauties.  

The representatives of Neamț County Council provided the guests with wool purses containing tourism promotional materials, as well as some delicious traditional treats, consisting of butchery products and sweets from local producers in Neamţ. The delegation of “Carmen Saeculare” Centre for Culture and Arts mesmerized the audience with traditional songs, dances and mask dances specific to Neamț area.

Neamţ Land occupies a privileged place in Romania in terms of unique touristic sights and the beauty of the natural environment from its many protected areas. Neamţ Land is full of attractions: from ancient historical monuments, monasteries and cathedrals, numerous museums and memorial houses, all of them hiding collections of great architectural, artistic and ethnographic value.

By visiting Neamț County, tourists will discover many picturesque ares, spectacular landscapes, and last, but not least, a hearth of authentic spiritual values, where they can get to know, and experience directly, the secular traditions of the Romanian people. The evolution of human communities in this space brought along with it the creation of the brightest prehistoric civilization in Europe, to which the Precucuteni-Cucuteni-Tripolie Complex, developed between 4200 -2600 BC and consisting of priceless exhibits belongs.
