The opening of the festival was held in the inner courtyard of Neamţ Fortress. The show was spectacular, as the folk music blended perfectly with the medieval atmosphere created by the parade of princes and knights in clothing of the epoch. Here, in a defining space for Romanian history and culture, the audience could enjoy famous folk music artists.
