Between June 1-5, the Holy Mountain from Neamț County was the main attraction for visitors, so over four thousand tourists were happy to climb the trails in Ceahlău National Park, admire the dramatic views from the heights of the massif, and most of them went that extra mile to reach the top, on Toaca Peak.
The mountain trails bustled with tourists that you could see everywhere, and the two chalets on top of the mountain, Fântânele and Dochia, were also full of guests. Down the mountain, in Durău and Izvorul Muntelui resorts, all accommodation facilities and restaurants were fully booked, and you could hardly find any free parking spot.
