Two brothers are about to fulfill their greatest dream: establishing the most complete private aviation base in Neamț County. Thus, a new airport, located in Timișești, will open its gate to the public the next spring or the next summer, depending on how quickly the two brothers, both passionate about flying, will succeed in setting up all the necessary infrastructure.

From a secure and well-paid career in commercial piloting to private aviation

Graduates of the Civil Aviation Academy, the two brothers stated that they were trained to become commercial airline pilots, but they chose the less travelled road: private aviation. A difficult path, full of risks and challenges, private aviation gives them more freedom and the satisfaction of a job well done.

Young and enthusiastic, the two brothers requested the concession of a plot of land from Timișești Local Council, for the construction of a private airfield. Present at the meeting of the local council, Ilie Botez, one of the brothers and the representative of White Wings Fly Club Ltd, explained that the land will serve for laying the foundations of a flight school and a large airfield, to operate different kind of flights. The company already received funding for the construction of hangars and the purchase of small aircrafts and even a larger one, for practicing private flights in the future.

The two brothers have all the prerequisites and assets to see their big dream come true and, so, write a new page in the history of flight in Neamţ County. The young pilots declare that they have the full support of the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority to lay the foundations of a flight school and an airfield. At the same time, they intend to bring a breath of fresh air in the field, and provide people interested in leisure flights and pilot training with high quality services, different from other services available in various places in the country. They are open, welcoming and open for any kind of collaboration. Moreover, White Wings Fly Club is especially targeting younger generations to inspire them and share their passion for aviation.

“Romania is still in the early stages of private aviation, but we can see a bright future here,” the two brothers said.
