Six museums from Neamț County are now easier to view and be accessed by the public, because they are now promoted on the first online platform dedicated to the rural museums in the Moldavian area.

The project has a catching-phrase name ”The Museum – from the country road to the screen” and consists of 3D interactive virtual tours, photography and documenting, Google Street View, Google Maps and Google Earth locating and integrating. All of these actions are now possible due to the high-technology equipment used to facilitate the display of the 28 museums from Moldavia.

The first phase of the project implied documenting and  gathering information from the museums located in the rural area from 8 counties in Moldavia. Therefore, a team of young people from Botoșani and Iași traveled around 5,500 km in 20 days gathering 700 GB of photo-video footage. The second phase of the project consisted of around 300 hours of photo-video editing. The final result you can see for yourself on the online platform www.muzeedelasat.ro which is both in Romanian and English.

The project is carried out by Real Tour RO, co-financed by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund (AFCN) and supported by delasat.ro website.
