Cherishing the national specificity and its interference with European values, the gallery highlights the works of artists whose roots are in the Neamţ region or who have spiritual connections with the area, such as C.D. Stahi, Aurel Băieşu, Lascăr Vorel, N. Milord, Clement Pompiliu, Iulia Hălăucescu. The gallery takes pride in the important selections of their artistic work. There are also collections of representative works of the Romanian masters, e.g. Gheorghe Petraşcu, Francisc Şirato, Nicolae Tonitza, Ion Ţuculescu, Corneliu Baba, Ion Jalea, Ion Irimescu, and others.

“The Tapestry Room” displays the artistic work of Aurelia Vasiliu-Gheaţă – whose name is closely related to the beginnings of modern tapestry. Her works are created in a harmonious tradition-inspired technique.
