This weekend, on the 29th-30th August 2020, comes again with many surprises for the water sports fans as a sequence of the event from the beginning of this month. The Lake Izvorul Muntelui Tour on canoes and kayaks, organized by Outdooris and Grădinile Romane.

The departure will be on Saturday at 9:00 in the morning, from Bicaz Dock, after a brief training for the safe use of the kayaks.

On the first day, the participants will pedal around 15 km and in the evening they will install their tents at “Grădinile Romane” Guesthouse. From there, the view over the lake and its surroundings is a spectacular one. The guests will be spoiled with delicious culinary dishes.

Participants will bring their own tents or they can rent them from our partners @Haiducii for the price of 60 RON – tents for 3-4 persons, including inflatable mattresses. Every tourist must have her/his own sleeping bag!
On Sunday, the participants will pedal around 10 km towards Ceahlău village, where the weekend tour ends,on the Lake Izvorul Muntelui in Neamț, one of the largest artificial lakes on the Romanian inner rivers, about 35 km long. Also referred to as the “sea between mountains” , the lake stretches behind a high dam of over 120 meters.
The tour is an easy, relaxing one and is meant for all the people, regardless their age, so it doesn’t require any previous experience.
Training, guidance and all necessary equipment (kayak/canoe, pedals, saving vest) are provided and participants should have water shoes, UV Sun equipment, thicker evening clothes, sleeping bag, tent, water for drinking and food. Tents can also be rented when you arrive in the area.
