Ceahlău Massif stands out among the surrounding mountains because of its unmistakable shape. It is by far the most interesting mountain area from the central part of the Eastern Carpathians.

Besides the amazing landscapes which can be admired both at sunrise or at sunset, right in front of Dochia Chalet, you can catch sight of the enormous Izvorul Muntelui Lake, and beyond the peaks of Stânişoarei Mountain.
