On National Culture Day, at Lascar Vorel Gallery in Piatra Neamt, took place with the support of UAPR Neamt branch and Neamt Museum Complex, exhibition of the painter Mihai Nechita – Burculeţ, of which has spoken the art critic and writer Lucian Strochi.

Painter, member of the subsidiary UAPR Bacau, born on 5^th of February 1949 at Sârca, Iasi County, is a graduate of the School of Art Octav Băncilă and the Faculty of Fine Arts in Iasi. His paintings have stood on the Gallery cymas by the end of January, enjoying the appreciation of practitioners. In his compositions, the preferred theme is man’s condition in the world, painted with a subtle irony, in paintings portraying himself (Self-Portrait at 80 years), people in the vicinity of the painter, and imaginary people. Native village, Sârca, with its landscapes and colorful houses appears in many of his paintings exhibited in a harmony of colors that delights the eye. Are transmitted through surreal brushstroke, moods expressed poetic in an atmosphere that is communicated by the paintings in a postmodern manner. Mihai Nechita-Burculeţ has at asset, exhibitions in major cities in Romania, Germany, France, the Netherlands, a business card is worth congratulated.
