The exhibition of Florin Mircea Zaharescu at “Lascar Vorel” Galleries from Piatra Neamt
At “Lascar Vorel” Galleries from Piatra Neamt you can see between April 30 and May 14 2014 the works of the artist Florin Mircea Zaharescu. Born on July 3 1949 in Sibiu, the artist has graduated from the Art High School from Ploiesti and later on the Art Institute “Nicolae Grigorescu” from Bucharest.
Over his career he made several art works such as sculpture, painting and graphics and he also participated at numerous art exhibitions in Romania and other countries. In his works religion and art are connected in a tight relation. Some of the most important works of the artist are made in 1994 at the Romanian Franciscan Institute, in 1996 at the Catholic Church from Slanic Moldova, the Catholic Church from Vaslui and in 1997 at Buruienesti.
The artist lives now in the town of Roman and he is the one that made the statue of Roman Musat from the center of the town, in 1992.
The Artists Union from Neamt County and the Museums Complex from Neamt County invite you to visit this special exhibition at “Lascar Vorel” Galleries from Piatra Neamt and to enjoy the works of the artist Florin Mircea Zaharescu.
