The artists Mihai and Parasca Agape will have an exhibition at “Lascar Vorel” Art Galleries from Piatra Neamt between March 03 and 14 2014. We invite you to participate at the opening of this exhibition on Monday, March 3 2014 at 17:00. Te opening presentation will be made by the writer Emil Nicolae.

Mihai Agape was born in 1938 on March 24 in Salageni – Grozesti, Iasi County and graduated the Faculty of Arts from Iasi, class of 1967. His debut in art was also in 1967 at Iasi. After that he participated at many collective exhibitions and art festivals organized by The Union of the Artists from Romania – Neamt County Bureau. He also had personal exhibitions in Piatra Neamt, Bicaz, Targu Neamt, Bacau, Suceava and Bucharest.

Between 1979 and 1988 he was a member of the Photographic Artists from Romania and he participated at many national and international photography saloons. Between 1976 and 1998 he lead the painting group of Children’s Club from Piatra Neamt and his works are also present in private collections.

Parasca Agape was born in August 1944 in Suceava County and she graduated the Art Institute from Bucharest. She worked as a drawing teacher in schools from Neamt County and from 1975 she started to participate at different collective exhibitions. Her works can be found in many private collections from Romania and other countries. She is present in the album “A century of belle arte in Bucovina” by Valentin Ciuca the 2005 edition and in the paper “The Art in Bucovina” by Emil Satco the 1984 edition.

With the occasion of this event Mihai Agape will also launch his book “Esecul Fatidic” (The Fateful Failure).
