Between December 13 and 15 2013 will take place at Ion Creanga Memorial Museum from Humulesti, the History and Ethnography Museum from Targu Neamt and at “Vasile Conta” Economic College the 44 edition of Ion Creanga Days. The event will take place in Humulesti and Targu Neamt. This edition is organized by Neamt County Museums Complex, “Ion Creanga” Cultural Foundation, “Constantin Matasa” Cultural and Scientific Foundation and the Local Council and Targu Neamt Town Hall.

Friday, December 13 2013 from 11:00 in the opening of the festival the participants, visitors and local officials will address a salute over generations. The event will continue with the symposium “Junimea 150” that will take place at the History and Ethnography Museum from Targu Neamt.

Saturday, December 14 2013 at 09:00 will take place at St Nicolae Church from Humulesti a memorial religious service for Ion Creanga and his family. Also, Saturday at the festivities room from “Vasile Conta” Economic College will be performed the play “Punguta cu doi bani” by actors of “Luceafarul” Theater from Iasi. Sunday, December 15 2013 will be a thematic trip, on the footsteps of the great writer.
