Winter is here and for all of us this doesn’t mean only snow and cold but also the joys of so many customs and traditions connected to the event of the birth of Christ. These customs are part of our culture and represent our heritage. “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center has a series of events programmed for the following period that are tightly connected to this moment.

On December 15 2013, the group “Floricica de la munte” will participate the Festival of customs and winter traditions from Pipirig. The festival is organized by “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center in collaboration with Pipirig Technological High School. On December 18 2013 from 18:00 at Tineretului Theater, “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center together with the Musical Faculty from Piatra Neamt invite you to a Christmas Carols concert.

Friday, December 20 2013 will take place a new edition of the National Festival of Customs and Winter Traditions “Steaua sus rasare”. Just like every year the event will consist in a parade of traditional costumes from Moldavia Republic, Maramures, Botosani, Bacau and Neamt Counties.
