“Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center will organize the first edition of the photography contest called “FOTO(ETNO)GRAFIA”. This project is for professional photographers and amateurs also who own ethnographic photos related to Neamt County. The purpose of the project is to uncover visual documents about the living contemporary village.

The competition is organized on two sections. The first section is about the “Traditional old village “ and to be eligible for it, photos must be about architecture (wide or detail view). The second section is about “Traditions” and refers to all aspects of life: daily tasks, industry, crafts, and artisans.

Photos must be sent until November 10 2013 to the bureau of “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center. The address of the institution is Stefan cel Mare street, number 3A, Piatra Neamt, Neamt County. The awards will be given on November 22 during an exhibition. The rules of the competition can be found on the website of the institution at www.culturaneamt.ro or at the addressed above mentioned.

As organizer of this event, “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center reserves the right to freely use the photos entered in the competition to further promote the ethnographic areas presented in the images.
