The History and Archeology Museum from Piatra Neamt is hosting the exhibition “Regina Maria – Regina tuturor romanilor” (“Queen Maria – Queen of all Romanians”) that is organized to commemorate 75 years from the death of Queen Maria. This year also there are 170 years from the birth of Queen Elisabeta and 120 years from the birth of king Carol II. The opening of the exhibition took place on March 14 2013 with a musical recital performed by students of “Victor Brauner” Art High School.

The exhibition is organized by Neamt County Museum Complex in collaboration with National Museum of Bran, The National History Museum of Romania and Neamt County Archives and presents over 140 objects. The pieces exposed belong to Bran National Museum and the History National Museum of Romania. Visitors will see art objects (paintings, sculptures from XV and XIX centuries), furniture pieces (XVII and XX centuries), an impressive collection of postal cards and photos, silver objects collected by Queen Maria. One of the most precious objects of the exhibition is the horse-whip with diamonds.
