The paintings of the painter Gheorghe Vadana can be admired at “Lascar Vorel” Galleries from Piatra Neamt in a retrospective that was opened on February 2. The painter is an exquisite artist that at his 82 years has almost 50 years of activity as a painter. The opening speech was held by the art critique Emil Nicolae.

Gheorghe Vadana graduated the Art Faculty from Iasi and he’s also a member of the Romanian Artist’s Union. He also participated over time at numerous group and personal exhibitions in Iasi, Bucharest, Targu Mures, Strasbourg, Valencia and so on.

The common theme from his paintings is the mountain environment from the Valley of Bistrita River. For a painter nature is everything: is love, is beauty, is color. In his career, the artist has signed hundreds of paintings, many of them being mountain environments.

The painter Gheorghe Vadana considers that an artist that wants to do something has to innovate and to create new ways of expressing himself. All art lovers are invited to visit “Lascar Vorel” galleries and admire these beautiful paintings.
