Thursday, January 24 2013, at 14:00 took place in front of the Culture’s House from Piatra Neamt a celebration dedicated to the Union of the Romanian Historic Regions. The event was organized by “Carmen Saeculare” Cultural and Art Center from Piatra Neamt. The Union of the Romanian Historic Regions on January 24 1859 is considered to be the first big step to create the Romanian National State.

At this event participated few folkloric bands from Neamt County that managed to create a true union circle. Among the participants from the event we can list “Floricica de la munte” from “Carmen Saeculare” cultural and art center, “Datina strabuna” from Piatra Soimului commune, “Buciumasii de la Garcina”, “Comorile Neamtului”, “Toporasul”, “Mugurelul”, “Neamtisorul” and “Codrii Neamtului”.

During the event people danced and they had a good time celebrating the Union as an important event in our lives. At the end the organizers invited all the person present at the event to hold hands in a big union circle.
