Between November 6 and 15 2012 at “Lascar Vorel” Galleris from Piatra Neamt art lovers had the chance of seeing the works of the artist Monica Carp. The exhibition is a sentimental one and contains works made in the last few years.

The artist Monica Carp was born on March 1 1956 in Bozienii de Jos, Neamt County. She followed the courses of the Popular School of Art from Bacau and the faculty of Plastic Arts from the Art University “George Enescu”. Today she is a member of the Artists Union from Piatra Neamt.

Over time some of her paintings were exposed in famous galleries from Romania and other countries. Her paintings are also part of museums and private collections from Roman, Iasi, Suceava, Vaslui, Cluj, Bucharest, Italy, UK, France, Belgium and Holland.

The works exposed in this exhibition are a remember of the traditional fabrics made in this area.
