Thursday, October 4 2012 starting with 17:00 at “Lascar Vorel” Galleries from Piatra Neamt took place the opening of the exhibition of the painter Eugen Craciun, called “Remember – 90 years from the birth of the artist”. The opening of the exhibition was presented by the art critique Lucian Strochi. With this occasion were also presented the albums dedicated to the creation of Eugen Craciun.

The painter Eugen Craciun lived between 1922 and 2001 and was born in Piatra Neamt. He studied at the Academy of Art from Iasi between 1947 and 1950. He had the opportunity to participate with his paintings at different exhibitions in Bucharest, Piatra Neamt, Bacau, Cluj, Galati, Swiss, France, Japan, Belgium and Italy.

The paintings created by the artist are truly special because of their beauty and because of the truth that transpires. The painter manages to impress you through his personal touch. The artist succeeds in opening your eyes to another reality. Eugen Craciun imposes himself throughout his career as a exquisite artist that created wonderful art pieces.
