Between August 17 and 19 2012 took placed in Roman Musat Plaza from Roman, Neamt County the third edition of “Targul de Gustar” Fair. The official opening of the event was scheduled for Friday, August 17 at 13:00. The event was organized by The Town Hall of Roman, The Local Artisans Association from Moldova, The Association for Urban Anthropology from Roman and “Hanul Ancutei” Foundation.

At the edition from this year participated 60 local artisans from all over the country. Among the participants there also were artisans that participated before like the wood artisan Avram Rosca from Balaceana – Suceava, the potter Marcel Mocanu from Branistea – Galati, Vasile Dudanu from Suseni – Grumazesti – Neamt, the religious icon painter Gheorghe Munteanu from Onesti – Bacau, Lilian Toderascu from Heci – Lespezi – Iasi, Danila Zoltani from Sighisoara – Mures, Nicolae Sava, Gheorghe Tugui from Vorona – Botosani and so many others.

Among the artisans that were present for the first time at this fair there were: the potter Daniel Ifrim from Voinesti commune Iasi County, the potter Laszlo Zsolt from Cartita – Harghita, the clothing creator Ana Ciolan from Iasi, the religious icons painters Lacramioara Teofilia Mihoreanu from Botosani and Cristina and Manuela Buclea from Barlad – Vaslui, the jeweler Robert Ilie from Bucharest, the egg painter Valentina Uhrenciuc from Mosna – Iasi and Costel I. Radu from Magurele – Prahova.

“Targul de Gustar” Fair managed to join many artisans and their crafts: religious icons painting, wood working, painted eggs, decorative art, animal skin working, weaving and carpentry, masks and jewels.
