Between August 1 and 5 2012 will take place the third edition of the International Musical Contest “Liga Campionilor”. The event will take place at Tineretului Swimming Pool from Piatra Neamt under more stages. The purpose of this competition is to promote values and true musical voices.

The director and the organizer of the contest is Mihai Traistariu. The contest will have 4 eliminatory events and the main condition as a soloist or as a band to enter this competition is to have at least one previous musical award. This competition wishes to become a contest for the best.

At the end of the 4 selection stages will remain 20 contestants. Among the finalists there are contestants from Oradea, Bucharest, Targu Jiu, Fagaras, Prahova, Vrancea, Dolj, Constanta, Piatra Neamt and three contestants from Albania and Russia.

The International Musical Contest “Liga Campionilor” has two age categories: juniors and seniors. The youngest contestant has 7 years and he’s from Piatra Neamt and the oldest has 25 years and he’s from Bucharest. Each section will have one trophy and the winners will compete for one Great Prize.

The president of the jury is Mihai Traistariu and the rest of the members are: Doina Morosanu, Liliana Cornila, Mircea Cazan, Lucian Darie and Daniela Cojocaru. For children there will be a jury formed by 3 teenagers: Andreea Olariu, Dora Gaitanovici and Laurentiu Barzoi.

The organizers of the third edition of the International Musical Contest “Liga Campionilor” are Mihai Traistariu and the Town Hall of Piatra Neamt.
