The European Congress for Rural Tourism at Piatra Neamt the IV edition

01-european-congress-rural-tourism-piatra-neamt-2012Between October 8 and 9 2012 will take place in Piatra Neamt the IV edition of the European Congress of Rural Tourism. The event will take place with the support of the European Commission and of the International Organization of Tourism and represents a new opportunity to find out the most recent news in the market and to get technical information about this activity in Europe.

The location of the event will be at the new Sport Center from Piatra Neamt (at the exit toward Roman) and the official languages of the event are Romanian and English. This year the organizers want to break the last year’s record of 35 countries that participated.

The main objective of the congress is to offer a meeting point where market related discussions to take place in business to business relations or between private companies and state officials. Here are the main aspects that the congress will concentrate on: the importance of tourism in rural regions – past and future, concepts and innovation in the field of rural tourism, maintaining the rural tourism, the rural tourism and the internet, the cultural heritage, natural resources and green roads.

At this edition are expected to participate people that are involved in rural tourism from all around the world. The event is organized every year by the EuroGites – The European Federation of Rural Tourism Associations and will represent an opportunity of touristic promotion for Neamt County.
