Between June 30 and July 1 2012 took placed “Iarmarocu din Cetate” Festival, the second edition. The exhibition contained a series of handmade objects made by using traditional methods. This event was dedicated to local artisans and was organized by The Local Artisans Association from Neamt County in collaboration with Targu Neamt Town Hall, Neamt County Council and Neamt County Museum Complex.

Just like at the first edition the festival brought to Targu Neamt artisans from all over Romania. They exhibited at the foot of Neamt Fortress a diverse set of objects crafted with the skills of the simple man that puts tradition beyond everything else.

The event wishes to support the preservation of the old traditions and of the artisans that carry on the old ways of creating objects.
