Between June 1 and 15 2012 at “Lascar Vorel” Art Galleries from Piatra Neamt took place a painting exhibition of the artist Dumitru Bezem. The opening of the exhibition took place Friday, June 1 at 16:00. The exhibition contained 60 new art works created by the painter in the last 5 months. The paintings express winter images from Neamt County area, together with portraits of monks and images of churches.

The painter Dumitru Bezem was born in October 23, 1947 in Tarcau commune and graduated the Faculty of Arts from Iasi in 1972. He started his artistic career at Iasi where he also becomes a member of the Romanian Artists Union. Over his career he had numerous personal exhibitions in Romania and other countries.

The international exhibitions are: Paris – 1990, Strasbourg – 1992, Hungary – 196, Epernay, in Champagne Esterlin hall with the occasion of Europeean Days – 1998, Kunstchouw – Burgh – Haamstede – the Netherlands – 1998, Geluk Galleries and Pannekoekenmolen of Graanhalm – 1998; Tollhouse Gallery, Clevedon, England by Art Colegium International – 1998.
