Between June 20 and 24 2012 will take place in Piatra Neamt a series of special events with the occasion of the Days of the Town on June 24. The event that has become a tradition also celebrates the birth of St Joan the Baptizer, the patron of the town.

The edition from this year is celebrated over 5 days with shows, concerts, exhibitions and sports competitions. The organizers of this event are Piatra Neamt Town Hall and the Chamber of Industries Neamt.

June 15 – 30: Painting exhibition “Orasul Artistilor” at “Lascar Vorel” Galleries
The opening of the exhibition will take place on June 22 at 17:00

June 20 – 24: Painting, photography and poetry contests organized by “Grup Scolar Chimie” Foundation at “Galeriile de Arta Moderna” Galleries

June 20 – 24: “Palatul Copiilor in Sarbatoare” shows and exhibitions of paintings

June 21: “Caravana MiniMax” in Tineretului Public Swimming Pool – games and cartoons for children between 13:00 and 18:00

June 21 – 24: Piatra Neamt Cup, The Romanian Equestrian Cup and the First stage of Grand Prix Romania at the Equestrian Complex “Virgil Barbuceanu”
