Saturday, June 23 2012 at 12:00 at the History and Archeology Museum from Piatra Neamt will take place the opening of the exhibition “Intelepciunea vine cu timpul” (Wisdom comes in time). The exhibition will present watches that belong to Mr. Romulus Lupascu, a passionate collector.

Romulus Lupascu measures time with hundreds of watches that he collected over time. For him a watch is not just an object that measures time but a fascinating mechanism that shows you the time in the incredible complexity of all those small gears.

The collection also contains a watch from 1870 and one of the first wrist watches from 1920. A rare piece of the collection is a lady watch, “Eterna” from 1968. The dearest items of the collection are a series of watches connected with the flight on the moon.
