The pianist Horia Mihail will present an interesting show with a captivating story, as always. He wishes that his audience to be as enthusiastic as he was at his first classical concerts. Horia Mihail started to play music at the age of 10 and the first concert was in Brasov, his birth town.
The musician managed to win first prize to all the competitions he participated in and he is the beneficiary of the “Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship” Scholarship. He was a lector for three years at Boston University after which he returned to Brasov in 2002 as a member of the well known band “Romanian Piano Trio”.
Starting with 2009 the artist is part of the orchestras and the choirs of the Romanian Radio. In April 2011 took place the first edition of the tour “Pianul calator” (The traveling piano) in 12 towns. The tour was a tribute to Franz Liszt at 200 years from his birth.
This year’s tour will offer you the chance to see and hear Horia Mihail play and experience his music.
