Friday May 4, 2012 took placed at “Lascar Vorel” Gallery from Piatra Neamt the opening of the exhibition “Ferestre” (“Windows”) of the artist Aurel Stanciu. He is a member of the Artists Union from Bacau. The artist studied at the Art High School from Cluj Napoca and at the University “Al. I. Cuza” from Iasi, the drawing section and the Art Institute “N. Grigorescu” from Bucharest, the museum section.

This exhibition serves as a pretext of the artist to offer a trip in time. Each person is connected to his memories, to things that happened in a certain place or in some special moment. The paintings exhibited try to depict the theory of painting.

Created as a dialogue between spiritual traditions of the rural civilization the exhibition “Ferestre” (“Windows”) comes to autentificate how fresh the point of view of the artist can be. The paintings can be admired at “Lascar Vorel” Gallery from Piatra Neamt until the mid of May.
