We invite you to Piatra Neamt Sunday May 15 2011 starting with 14:00 in “Piata Stefan cel Mare” Plaza for the event “Drumul Mingii” Caravan (“The Road of the Ball” refers to the ball that will be used in the Romania’s Football Cup Final). The event that started in Timisoara and went for over 40 days and over 2400 km will end in Brasov in the day of the final.

The event from Sunday will start with a speech of the local authorities and the organizers. Starting with 14:30 and up until 15:10 will take place a short football match between supporters from Piatra Neamt and some of the legendary football players from Romania. This match will take place in “Piata Stefan cel Mare” Plaza and will participate players like Adrian Bumbescu, Miodrag Belodedici, Costel Oras and Sorin Cartu.

After this short football game the day will continue with different contests that will involve dribbling through cones, quizzes and all sorts of mini competitions.

“Drumul Mingii” Caravan in Piatra Neamt 2011, Neamt County

Piatra Neamt was chosen to be part of this event because three years ago it hosted a Final of Romania’s Football Cup, because this is a town with football tradition and because of so many other sport activities that will be hosted here. After Sunday “Drumul Mingii” Caravan will continue its road toward Bistrita Nasaud.
