Short description

Constantin Romanescu was a teacher and for 36 years he was also the principle of the school from the village Dreptu. He was a very important figure for the community of the village Dreptu, he was the friend of the great writer Mihail Sadoveanu but he also was a collector. Because of his constant activity, the people from the village Dreptu have a zoological museum of their own.

This museum, known as the Zoological Museum C Romanescu is the result of a lifetime work. The museum was built with passion and it contains many species from the surrounding fauna. All the animals and birds presented in the museum are well preserved.
