If you reach Piatra Neamt it would be a shame not to go and see the city from above, from the comfort of the cable railway that goes above the city. This construction is one of the biggest achievements of the Local Council in terms of touristic attractions. The cable railway is opened for the public since 2008 and together with the public swimming pool is one of the main touristic attractions from Piatra Neamt.

The starting station is at the train station and it arrives on top of hill Cozla. There are 22 cabins that make the entire route in 6 minutes. This is the most spectacular way to get on top of the hill Cozla and also the quickest. The view above the city and the Bistrita Valley is spectacular. During the winter the tourists that love the winter sports have the chance to practice their sky skills on the slope from Cozla. You can climb with the cable railway and then return by foot and admire the beautiful scenery and the peace of the forest.
